#108 Just Dropped: Actors' Equity's Diversity & Inclusion Report with Danee Conley

Something big happened this week over at Actors’ Equity Association. They dropped their Diversity & Inclusion Report on Hiring Bias for 2021. 🙌

And on this episode, we get an inside look as I chat with Danee Conley, Equity’s new Diversity & Inclusion strategist. We discuss the report’s findings and how the industry can continue to progress towards a more diverse and representative future. As members of the theater community, it’s our responsibility to be a part of the conversation and take action towards positive change.

And… It’s important for all actors and stage managers, regardless of union membership, to feel comfortable and supported in their work. It’s also important to recognize that these conversations can be difficult, but they are necessary for progress.

I just know that Danee is going to inspire you and help you understand how much Actors’ Equity is on your side, always.
